Mega-Concert of the Summer in Santiago

Santiago’s new Cibao Arena Dr. Oscar Gobaira (formerly the Santiago Sports Palace) will be the scene of “Mega-Concert of the Summer,” that will feature the most important elements of Dominican tropical music.

The event will raise funds for the various organizations that work for the development of the city of Santiago and which struggle to provide education for orphans and street children.

And now, the date and time have been confirmed: August 2nd  beginning at 7:00 p.m. Performers include Héctor Acosta “El Torito,” Sergio Vargas, Toño Rosario, Omega, Sexappeal, Michell, Julián, Silvio Mora, Kiko “El Presidente,” Krisspy, El Lápiz, Don Miguelo and Elvis Martínez “El Camarón.”

The event will raise funds for the various organizations that work for the development of the city of Santiago and which struggle to provide education for orphans and street children.

Tickets will go on sale starting July 15 in various commercial centers in Santiago as well as television and radio stations, music stores and the ticket office of the stadium.

More than 15 radio and TV personalities from Santiago, the Northern Region and the capitol Santo Domingo will be presenters at the concert.
