First Sao Paolo-Punta Cana Charter Flight Planned for July

The first charter flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Punta Cana will begin to operate in July on TAM Airlines. The 767-300 plane will seat 244 passengers with 31 in business class.

The weekly flights will help Brazilians to get to know the Dominican Republic, announced Dominican Tourism Minister Félix Jiménez at the Panrotas Forum in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

This charter flight is expected to save up to four hours of travel time off the regular flights.

Participants of the Panrotas Forum are debating tourism tendencies in Brazil and are gathering the main authorities of the tourism sector.

Throughout the activity at the forum, the growth of the Brazilian-Dominican Republic travel market significantly increased.
