Primary Health Month Underway in Samaná

		Primary Health Month Underway in Samaná The Secretary of Public Health began Primary Health Month in Samaná, an activity that is part of the “Year of National Health Promotion” celebration. According to Bautista Rojas Gómez, head of the project, during February the major emphasis will be on prevention education and health promotion. Rojas Gómez used the Primary Health system developed in Samaná province as an example of a system that has all the necessary clinics and health units to take care of patients as well as to offer education about prevention and health promotion for the entire community.
