With the staging of an infectious musical repertoire and colorful scenery reminiscent of the Wild West, the administration of the National Conservatory of Music celebrated its 73rd anniversary with the participation of the Juan Pablo Duarte Youth Symphony Orchestra.

This activity took place in the Juan Francisco García Hall, in front of a full house and under the direction and script of Maestro Dante Cucurrullo, and with the special participation of musicians Hari Solano, Lucas Benítez and Alexander Orán.

It was an educational activity presented to the public with the objective of motivating and attracting the children to study music in its various forms.

With its cast of musicians dressed in jeans, the members of the Symphony Orchestra caught the public’s attention from the beginning to the end of the concert.

Guests enjoyed a musical repertoire that included: “An American Rhapsody”; “Hoe Down”; “The Magnificent Seven”; “Down the Mountain”; “Fiddle-Faddle”; “Banditen-Gallop-Polka”; “Final Allegro, Orpheus in the Underworld” (Overture); and, “William Tell” (Overture).
