MITUR Ballet Performs in the Dominican Cultural Week in Boston

The Ballet of the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), under the direction of Professor Oscar Batista, will participate with a stellar performance in the Cultural Week and the Dominican Festival 2014, which is scheduled to take place from August 12th to the 18th in Boston.

…activities such as this one help promote and strengthen the Dominican Republic in the United States, which is the mainprovider of tourists to the Dominican Republic.

A guest of the Dominican Art and Culture Foundation of Boston (FUNDEARCU), Batista conveyed his delight and gratitude for the invitation because this is a great opportunity to display the elegance of the cadence of the rhythms of native music.

“We are very proud of this invitation since it is the very first time that we participate in this event. We feel optimistic in that our participation in Boston will be fascinating,” the dance Professor said.

He also thanked the organizers of the cultural event and noted that activities such as this one help promote and strengthen the Dominican Republic in the United States, which is the mainprovider of tourists to the Dominican Republic.

Batista noted that the MITUR Ballet has an arduous program to perform, and that it is responsible for embellishing the Cultural Week and the Dominican Festival in Boston every day throughout the duration of the event.
