Fifth anniversary of QUINTAPATA

On July 26, at 7 pm, the group QUINTAPATA will celebrate its fifth anniversary at the Cultural Center of Spain.

QUINTAPATA consists of visual artists Pascal Meccariello, Raquel Paiewonsky, Jorge Pineda and Belkis Ramírez, who individually have developed their careers with great success.
The objective of the group is to create collective strategies to increase visibility, both locally and internationally, of the art that is being produced in our country, not only by the members of the group but also by our entire artistic community.

Mover la Roca was QUINTAPATA’s first project. It was curated by Fernando Castro Flores and it was made of works that had been created by each of the artists who integrated the group.
The sponsorship of the Cultural Center of Spain was instrumental in the consolidation of this project. This organization promoted and facilitated its mobility in conjunction with the management efforts that were generated by QUINTAPATA itself.

This first exhibition became the group’s cover letter. It has been presented in Lima, Buenos Aires, Miami and Mexico.
