Reserve Bank Publications Available on the Internet


The Reserve Bank has announced that interested readers can download books, free of charge, published by this institution including those belonging to the Bibliophile Collections –BanReservas as well as independently published books. Readers need only to enter the bank’s website at: www.bankreservas.com.do.


The books available in PDF format are: “Thought and Action in the Life of Juan Pablo Duarte,” by Carlos Federico Pérez y Pérez; recently published “Dominican Literature in the Twentieth Century” by Héctor Incháustegui Cabral; “The Art of Prudence” by Baltasar Gracián and the anonymous “A Message to García.”


Speeches by BanReservas’ general administrator, Daniel Toribio are also available to readers. “Three Reasons Behind Our Success” and “We Are More Than Just Numbers,” offer explanations on the economic growth and social and cultural endeavors carried out by this financial institution.


To download the books from BanReservas’ website, the user must have Acrobat Reader because the books are only available in PDF format. If one does not have Acrobat already installed in their computer, it is available for free download on the bank’s website.
Once entering the bank’s website at www.banreservas.com.do, look for the window that reads “Publications of Banreservas.” Double click on this image to enter and find the list of available books. One can also print the books directly from the web page for more comfortable reading.
