The four-time Grammy winner, on tour in Puerto Rico where she is promoting her new single, “No me interesa,” has attracted the attention of the press which have welcomed her like the queen she is, while proving full coverage of her achievements, trajectory and awards.

“The merenguera, who is celebrating her 30-year career was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for her short version of“De Isla a Isla” which she recorded with VíctorManuelle. Channel 47 of New York used the song to celebrate their 47th anniversary,” reported El Nuevo Día newspaper of Puerto Ricoon Tuesday March 12th.

The Puerto Rican newspaper, Vocero, calls the award-winning production, “AquíestoyYo” (Here I Am) by MillyQuesada with the participation of Juan Luis Guerra, Tito Nieves and Víctor Manuel.

In the report published on Tuesday, “La Reina del Merengue,” (The Queen of Merengue) expresses her desire to organize a huge concert in Puerto Rico and bring together these three great artists who accompanied her in the recording and production of her latest disc.

“I would be the happiest woman if I could get them together to do a big show to celebrate these three decades.Hopefully that can happen…” said Quezada, in an interview with Vocero.

Pavel Núñez (nominated for a Grammy), who continues as a successful producer and singer, feels that this Emmy nomination is a vote of confidence in his work as a music producer. In addition to writing the lyrics for“Isla a Isla,”as well as the adaptation of an anniversary jingle for Telemundo, channel 47, which was nominated today for television’s top American prizes.
