Ecuadorian Delegation visits the Dominican Republic onthe occasion of the celebration of the International Book Fair 2013

A technical delegation from the Ecuadoran Ministry of Culture will arrive in the Dominican Republic this coming Wednesday to coordinate that country’s participation in the XVI International Book Fair 2013, as an invitedguest of honor of the Book Fair.

According to the Office of Communications of the Ministry of Culture, the delegation will meet with officials from the Ministry of Culture, including with Minister José Antonio Rodríguez.

The technical delegation consists of Andrea Rodriguez, Director of Communications; VerónicaPolit, Director of International Relations; Mueckay, Director of Cultural Promotions at the Foreign Ministry of Ecuador. Leonidas Montenegro and Lorena Hidalgo, International RelationsAnalysts, will also participate.

According to the Office of Communications of the Ministry of Culture, the delegation will meet with officials from the Ministry of Culture, including with Minister José Antonio Rodríguez.

The objective of this meeting is to analyze the cooperation agreement for the participation of Ecuador as an invited guest of honor at the XVI International Book Fair in Santo Domingo.

The Ecuadorian officials will also hold a meeting with the Executive Director of the Book Fair, Pedro Antonio Valdez, to discuss aspects of the presentation as well as the expectations for the Book Fair, and the good practices in Ecuador for reading and the dissemination of literature, among other topics.
