The National Symphony Orchestra will offer a spectacular concert to close the 2012 season

The 2012 Symphony Season will close its cycle of performances on Wednesday,November 28th, with a gala concert that will take placeat 8:30 pmin the Carlos Piantinihall of the Eduardo Brito National Theatre. Maestro José Antonio Molina’s baton will lead the musicians during their interpretation of well-known classical compositions.

It will be an unforgettable spectacle, full of formality and musical excellence, which will revealthe Dominican talent and the rapid growth of this genre during the XXI century.

Accompanying the Maestro will be soprano Paola González, baritone Jason Stearns, and tenor Michael Daniel Bicoy, as well as the masterful voices of the National Choir, the Choir of the Judiciary, and the Childrens Choir of the Center for the Study of Modern Music, under the direction of César Novas, Elioenai Medina and Laurina Vásquez.

It will be an unforgettable spectacle, full of formality and musical excellence, which will revealthe Dominican talent and the rapid growth of this genre during the XXI century.

The National Symphony Orchestra and its musicians is committed to conquer the audiencesduring each of itsperformances,to have them enjoy the pieces that have been selected and to delightedthem so that they will continue to attend and support the performances that are prepared year after year.

Soloists and world renowned conductors took the stage during the performances that the National Symphony Orchestra(OSN for its acronym in Spanish)offeredsincethe start to the seasonon September 12, 2012.

The director of the orchestra, José Antonio Molina, expressed his gratitude toward the audiences that traditionally have honored them with their presence during every concert, but especially to the youth who join the great family of followers of the orchestra on a daily basis.
