Ministry of Culture Offers Workshop on Project Formulation and Evaluation

The Ministry of Culture, per its labor policy and based on strategic planning to achieve the goals set by the institution, offered provincial and municipal directors a workshop entitled Project Formulation and Evaluation.

The training workshop will also help optimize resources inplans that will have an impact in the medium and long term, in every corner of the national territory.

This two-day course was given by engineer Ángel Peguero, INFOTEP facilitator, to equip participants with tools for developing and directing a project management plan.

The main objective is to define the feasibility and sustainability of projects, by integrating knowledge from the areas of production, design, administration, marketing and finance, in order to engage and develop productive proposals applicable to industry.

The training workshop will also help optimize resources inplans that will have an impact in the medium and long term, in every corner of the national territory.

Duringthe 40-hour course, Ángel Pegueroaddressed: Conceptual elements in the Study for a Project, Market Research, Technical Feasibility Studies, the Administrative Legal Framework, Economic and Financial Feasibility and Social Assessment.

This training is managed by the Department of Education and Training of the Ministry of Culture(Mi-Culture), which will continue providing the institution’s staff with the courses and training to improve their job and personal performance.

The Ramón Oviedo Art Hall at Ministry headquarters is where the meeting took place; the opening ceremony was attended by Directorate of Education and Training director Rosa Julia Rodríguez and Provincial Councils and Houses of Culture director Guillermo Martínez.
