The information, however did not specify the exact date yet for Minister Ganapathy’s visit or the other nations that will be included in his regional tour. Minister Ganapathywill talk with officials of the Dominican government about bilateral issues such as the agreement to eliminate the need for certain categories of visas, an agreement for Indian airlines to travel to the Dominican Republic and vice-versa and various memoranda of understanding on cultural aspects, according to a communiqué from the local Foreign Ministry Office. The Dominican Foreign Ministry announced Mr. Ganapathy’s upcoming visit following a meeting between his counterpart, Carlos Morales Troncoso, and Adjunct Secretary for Latin America from the Indian Foreign Ministry, Dammu Ravi and Indian Ambassador in Santo Domingo, Deepak KishinchandBhojwani.
