With the objective of attracting the publicto a space dedicated to books, and to formallystart the pre-inaugural cycle of the 2012Santo Domingo International Book Fair, theCultureBookstoreheld the event “Noche Brava del Libro” at its headquarters located at Las Atarazanas street No. 2 in the Colonial City.

The Second Noche Brava will be held next February 29 and will include exciting new book discounts.

During that evening, all attendees received unique book discount deals, which ranged between 50% to 70% off from the regular prices and book combos for a hundred pesos.

The event was hosted by Alejandro Arvelo, writer and Director of the International Book Fair, and by Valentin Amaro.

Visitors enjoyed readingsby poets Alfonso Quiñones, Amaro Valentin, Raiza White,Mateo Morrison, Federico Jovine Bermudez, Basilio Belliard, Juan Freddy Armando, FelixVillalona, ??and others.

This new cultural space offered an interesting program which, in addition to book discounts and poetry readings, the audience enjoyed a musical performance by Waldo Rincon, and the presentation of Poetbeats, with Alexei Tellerías, Ricardo Cabrera and Manuel de Jesus Diaz.
