The book, which consists of more than 150 pages will be available for sale at the library of the Museum of the Resistance, which is responsible for its distribution, with a view to make it known to students and visitors. The proceeds of the book sale will go to that institution to fund its educational activities.

Meanwhile the documentary film, which lasts 40 minutes and has been produced by journalist Zaidy Zouain and edited by Franklin Soler, collects testimonies by Ligia Portalatín widow Moreno and by other relatives of Don Alfonso.

This documentary film is a legacy of great historical value about the plight of a Dominican family that opposed the Trujillo regime. The MorenoMartinez family suffered the murder of one of the brothers at the age of 26, who almost graduated from law school.
