Nine painters are having a group show, “InCORPORATUS,” with an ample display of techniques and proposals. The inauguration is  opening today in the Ramon Oviedo Art Gallery of the Ministry of Culture.

Nine painters are having a group show, “InCORPORATUS,” with an ample display of techniques and proposals.

There are painting surprises and new art forms that are already part of a style, the fruit of hard work on the part of the artists here At “InCORPORATUS.”

This is also a meeting point where the likes of Gabino Rosario, Persio Checo, Manuel Toribio, Remberto Rondón, Julián Amado, Vladimir Velázquez, Verouschka Freixas, Johnny Jiménez and the Wyrbel Family are showing their talent by using the human form as a unique protagonist.

This group painting show “InCORPORATUS” came about as a meeting space in which each artist allows his/her most intimate fantasy to flow, its richest visual metaphor or its deepest obsession. It is a show of work done in small formats, in which ideas, fantasies and creativity of these well-known Dominican artists conjugate and refigure to offer a harmonious and significant atmosphere on these welcoming walls of the Ramon Oviedo Art Gallery of the Ministry of Culture. This show will close out the splendorous 2011 programming of the gallery.

The exhibition will remain open until the end of January 2012 in the Ramón Oviedo Art Gallery on George Washington Ave. corner with Pte. Vicini Burgos. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
