The Iberoamericana University (UNIBE in Spanish) and the Orange Foundation signed a collaboration agreement with the intention of jointly developing different projects that will have a national impact in research and training areas.

The agreement was signed by UNIBE Rector Dr. Julio Amado Castaños Guzmán and the president of the Orange Foundation, Jean Marc Harion.

The agreement seeks to create cooperation possibilities in various areas. Both organizations commit to collaborate and unite forces to promote an exchange of experiences and personnel in education as well as other areas in which they have shared interests.

They also signed a specific accord to create a post grad degree and a training program in the area of autism. This is the Autism Degree, given by the UNIBE’s Graduate School (EGRU) and supported by the Orange Foundation. The Masters degree also includes a research development project called “Development of communication and socialization skills among children with autism through the Autism Group Intervention Program (PIGA in Spanish),” with the support of the Orange Foundation.

Upon signing this agreement, ORANGE and UNIBE are reaffirming their commitment to support and contribute to the strengthening of the quality of education and lifestyle of children with autism in the Dominican Republic.
