Milly Quesada and Juan Luis Guerra recorded “Toma mi vida” written by two of the most outstanding composers in Latin America: Yoel Henríquez and Alex Cuba.
This is the first time the singer, famous for “La Bilirrubina” has recorded a merengue song with a Dominican singer and it is not going unnoticed by the music industry; it is already generating huge expectations.

“Toma mi vida” is a harmonious and well-orchestrated merengue, with musical arrangement by Janina Rosado, musical producer on Milly Quezada’s latest CD, the thirtieth of her successful musical career.

“For Milly, this is a great accomplishment and a well-deserved achievement to have fulfilled her dream of recording a duo with her compatriot and close friend Juan Luis Guerra and even more so in that this is a merengue,” expressed her manager Pedrito Núñez del Risco.

The song will be promoted in Puerto Rico, USA, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Peru and Europe.

The new album by the DR’s “Queen of Merengue,” was named by Milly herself: “Aquí estoy yo” (Here I Am). It is a confirmation that she is still very much on the music scene, with strength and determination like never before while maintaining her high quality as she steps out into the public as part of this fantastic duo with the great Juan Luis Guerra.

Quezada’s new CD promises to be the best of her 30-year career. This song will be the first promotional piece for the new disc, which has already been heard by important international promoters with the goal of reaching possible promotion and distribution agreements around the world.

It is expected that Milly and Juan Luis’s new song will be ready sometime during the month of May. The launch of the the CD, “Aquí estoy yo” is planned for July 1st in San Diego, California.
