Valverde Mao Developing Intense Cultural Agenda

The Ministry of Culture and its District Office in the province of Valverde Mao, as part of their shared  interest in promoting this city’s art, are developing a monthly agenda full of cultural activities including theater, dance, festivals and conferences that make up a full cultural calendar.

In addition, the actors who belong to the CURNO-UASD Theater group delighted their audience with the play “Ondas Derivadas” which was performed at the II Regional Theater Festival.

During February and March, the District Office of Mao, under the direction of Robinson Pineda, supported the participation of the “La Altagracia” group at a cultural event held in Montecristi. This is one of the cultural groups rescued by the institution.

In addition, the actors who belong to the CURNO-UASD Theater group delighted their audience with the play “Ondas Derivadas” which was performed at the II Regional Theater Festival.

 As part of the activities underway for Patriot Month, the Cultural Office also held a conference at the government headquarters which was attended by the provincial governor, José Eduardo Núñez, and students from the various local schools.
