InteRDom Internship Supervisor Certification Seminar that will take place on March 31- April 1


Registration is now open for those who wish to participate in the InteRDom Internship Supervisor Certification Seminar that will take place on March 31- April 1 at the Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  The Certification of Internship Supervisors is an innovative training program for directors and employees of organizations interested in implementing or improving existing internship programs within their respective companies or institutions.


The Certification program is organized by InteRDom, an initiative of FUNGLODE and Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD). InteRDom oversees the professional exchange between universities, international students and companies while sponsoring training initiatives that stimulate development, diversity and positive work culture.


With this Certification program, InteRDom seeks to enhance the capabilities of representatives of human resources, project directors, managers and professionals in all areas with the goal of contributing to the development of a successful internship program that will benefit participating companies through the collaboration of motivated students, both national and international.


Learn by Doing


Internships are tantamount to a professional development modality that serves to elevate the quality of future as well as current employees. They also increase diversity in the work place, as they constitute a key element for the strategic development of the company or organization in the market.
The course will include an orientation on the development of learning plans; how to integrate of all the company’s employees into the experience and how all of this can have a real impact on general productivity.

Workers and directors in all areas of public and private organizations of all sizes, as well as governmental and non-governmental institutions.

 Objetives:



  1. To teach participating organizations to develop efficient internship programs.
  2. To offer guidance to employees on how to prepare work plans prior to the arrival of the interns and on how to include the participation of interns in the planning.
  3. To help Human Resources Directors identify workers who meet the requirements necessary to act as coordinators for the interns.  
  4. To promote a culture of technology and academic exchange among local and international universities and businesses.
  5. To increase the presence of ethnic and diverse talent in all areas of the organization.
