Please join us for the Dominican Studies Association Conference, May 13-14 at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, Connecticut. As many of you know, Dr. Daisy Cocco De Filippis is president of Naugatuck Valley Community College and is currently the only person of Dominican ancestry serving as president of a college in the United States. This conference is an important moment for the Dominican people as we gather to engage in intellectual discussion, uncover new research, and celebrate our history and culture (and Daisy’s historic appointment)!
