Pavel Núñez Launches a Special CD/DVD Edition of “Big Band Núñez”

Pavel Núñez launched a special CD/DVD edition of his live production of “Big Band Núñez” with a concert at the Theater House after having introduced the public to this new work in a press conference called by the artist and executives from Antena Music and Orange Music.

This first edition of the “Big Band Núñez” was launched a year-and-a-half ago as a DVD with the commitment that it would soon be released as a CD.

The concert, called “Podrido de latir” with the slogan “When the heart is broken, songs are born,” Pavel gave his all in this performance in which the young singer displayed his talent with this exquisite repertory that contains so many hits that one night is simply not long enough to do them all. The special CD/DVD edition recently launched gathers together many of the most precious moments of his “Big Band Núñez” concert of 2007 when Pavel was at the Jaragua Hotel sponsored by Orange Music and his concert of last year at the National Theater with a band of 32 musicians where he shone as the respected soloist.

This first edition of the “Big Band Núñez” was launched a year-and-a-half ago as a DVD with the commitment that it would soon be released as a CD. Antena Music and Orange Music are making good on that promise with the release of this double album containing both a CD and a DVD.

Gina Giudicelli and Manuel Villalona from Anima Studios were in charge of the technical aspects of this audiovisual project. They also designed the cover. Manufacturing was done in New York by Discmakers. Peyi Guzmán was the director of photography.

Eric Taveras and the multiple Grammy winner Allan Leschhorn, did the sound along with Roy Tabaré in their Miami studio under the supervision of Pavel Núñez and Rafa Payán, as musical producers of the 14 songs that make up the CD/DVD.

Special performance on the CD/DVD include such artists as Danny Rivera, Luis Enrique, Frank Ceara, Carolina Rivas and Ana Feliz. The CD is a confluence of different musical generations who came together with the talented common denominator Pavel Núñez.
