Wallride Exhibition in Modafoca Gallery

The MDFC Gallery is presenting its tenth WALLRIDE exhibition. This one is about skateboards designed by a group of artists, several of whom are young graphic designers, illustrators and skaters whose work is based on their own professions, using a skateboard as the medium for their subjects, thus combining art and sport.

The exhibition is being organized by Ricardo Blandino, skater, graphic designer, producer and audiovisual director, in collaboration with 5boro, a clothing and skateboard brand based in New York City. 5boro was founded ten years ago by Steve Rodríguez and will be exhibiting its products at the MDFC Gallery from Thursday May 21st to Thursday July 30, 2009.

Participants inlclude: Juango Dávalos, Omar García – Angurria, Colectivo Lero Lero, La Pixelería (Chago, Luis and Natz), Ana Rima Con Banana, Adela Doré, Marcos Cabrera, Mario Cairo, Karla Peña, Pote de Leche, Stalin González, Surfito, Maurice Sánchez, DCO, Laura Castro, Bernardo Vega – Bubu, Galvez Capriles, Koco, Madelyn Rodríguez, Marova, Naysa Dumé, Carlos Chu, Daniel Cuervo, Kinky Mena, Melissa Mejía and Moisés Dávila.
