The exhibition opened April 23rd in the MCR1 Studio Gallery.

“We define their acting and posing and the theme of the series which is quite dark. We wanted them to appear like monsters and vampires thirsty for blood, hungry for meat,”

This is an experimental show done by the photography duo Fernando & Victor who took photos for a week in their usual style, directing their lenses at their subjects who were tinged with monstrosity and vampirism. “Thirst,” the result of these photo sessions, is made up of 46 portraits “full of beauty and horror,” say the photographers.

The pictures will remain on display until May 7 at the MCR1 Studio Gallery in Los Prados.

Fifteen male and female models from the Civiles Agency, all photographed semi-nude and in black and white, were the subject of the piece. “We define their acting and posing and the theme of the series which is quite dark. We wanted them to appear like monsters and vampires thirsty for blood, hungry for meat,” said Víctor Nicolás, of the photography duo.

The result is a series of portraits that have not lost their theatrical flare, their vision of alternative beauty and their mastery of light that characterizes the fashion photos of Fernando & Victor. This series has its primal, deviant and spontaneous side.
