Dominican President Leonel Fernández received Big League pitcher Pedro Martínez in his office at the National Palace on Friday.

In the courtesy visit, the President spoke with the famous pitcher from Manoguayabo for more than a half hour about baseball and the possibility of Martínez’s return to the Gran Carpa.

President Fernández talked about the extraordinary talent of Dominican baseball players and those who represent the country in the Big Leagues.
