Exhibition at Club Hemingway’s Starfish Resorts

The exhibition halls at CLUB HEMINGWAY’S STARFISH RESORTS in Juan Dolio, are hosting an exhibition of Spanish artists Emma Grau and Pere  de Ribot.

The two artists are well-known painters on the international art scene. Emma Grau has had numerous exhibitions. In her most recent show at the José de Ibarra Gallery in Barcelona and after four intense years of working and personal searching, she presented her new and surprising collection “Maternities.” In her most recent aesthetic adventure, Emma Grau presented paintings full of life and lights. Images of families, portraits of mothers and children in which the painter converges the artistic path with the interior world to come to the conclusion that “love is the only path.”  

Pere de Ribot, born in Girona in Octuber 1962, began his artistic vocation at a young age and began to show it off early as well. Painting was part of his youth and he also began playing piano at a young age. He is part of the faculty at the Fine Arts Academy of Barcelona, with a specialty in painting.  He recently painted a piece from the expressionist current in which, with landscapes and interiors, he created an atmosphere that suggests visions of the 18th and 19th Century with clear reminiscences of Romanticism. 

Determined and energetic brushstrokes allow De Ribot to produce a painting very close in feeling to literature, provoking a visual impact for the viewer with a wide range of emotional effects.
