Dominican Republic Most Popular Destination in Caribbean and World for Brazilians

The ad campaign and increase in tourist arrivals from Brazil places the Dominican Republic as the number one preferred destination of Brazilians in the Caribbean region, according to the CVC, the main tour operator in the market and the fifth in the world.

…a new Dominican publicity campaign was launched under the slogan, “The Republic of Many Colors.”   

The information was released at a tourism fair workshop recently held by the CVC in Sao Paulo, Brazil where a new Dominican publicity campaign was launched under the slogan, “The Republic of Many Colors.”

Nine prestigious Dominican hotels participated along with the OPT (Tourism Promotion Office) at the Dominican stand which attracted the attention of numerous travel agents and visitors who attended the event which is considered the most relevant tourism gathering in the so-called “giant of South America.”
           
Miguelina Ruiz, Director of the Promotion Office for South American, and Nodalia Arias, an assistant at the OPT, greeted the many guests at the Dominican booth and provided them with promotional material about our country including DVDs, catalogues and calendars.

The hotels that participated in this tourism fair included the Meliá Santo Domingo, Meliá Paradisus, Moon Palace Punta Cana, Princess Hotels & Resorts, Barceló Hotels & Resorts, Fiesta Hotel Group, Bahía Príncipe Club Resorts, Eden NH Real Arena and the Club Caribe.
