Innovative “Be What You Want to Be” Toy Fair

Santo Domingo, November 6, 2019 – The first Milex Toy Fair will be held in one of Santo Domingo’s most popular shopping malls, beginning November 24 and running through the first weeks of January. During the month-and-a-half Fair, the family oriented event will feature toys that will surely attract and motivate children of all ages.

The Fair will be held in the capital city’s Agora Mall, one of the country’s most modern and situated in the very heart of Santo Domingo.

The third floor of the Mall will feature stands with toys that range from the latest Barbie collections to innovative modern toys, and even dinosaur figures.

The Barbie doll exhibit, titled “Be What You Want to Be,” will feature more than 20 dolls that hope to motivate young girls to study and become prominent professionals in various fields.
The program also includes dinosaur parades where children will be able to take photographs with their favorite ancient dinosaur, as well as learn important information about these now extinct animals.
The program will begin with the scenic “Giant Duck” exhibit, situated in the Mall’s basement.

Executives from Arla Foods and “Patín Bigote” companies announced that 100 tickets will be raffled during the first few days of the event.

“As part of the activities held, organizers will open with the “Milex Duck,” the company’s mascot, who will also raffle gifts sponsored by the popular Dominican store “La Novia de Villa.” Guests will also enjoy the tasting of Milex products, served by ‘Leo,’ the mascot,” explained Luis Molina, a representative from “Patín Bigote,” one of the Fair sponsors.

He also explained that this first Milex Fair is oriented for the enjoyment of the entire family. Traditional toys will be exhibited along with the latest toys in the market. The goal is to also provide educational activities in a fun environment.
Parents and children of all ages participate in the Fair to enjoy quality family time.
