Perelló Cultural Center Announces Arts Festival

Punta Salinas, Bani, September 26, 2018 – Almost two dozen plastic artists from throughout the country will participate in a special arts festival to be held in Punta Salinas, in the southwest town of Baní.
The information was provided by the privately owned Perelló Cultural Center in a press conference, where it announced the celebration of the “Painters’ Festival: Salinas Through the Paintbrush.” The event will be the first encounter of plastic artists from the country’s southwest region that come together to enjoy the beautiful environment this particular tourism region is known for.
The event will be held Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30 in the Parador Punta Salinas, thanks to the support provided by Franklin Reyes, owner of this popular tourism destination.

Present at the press conference were the head of the Perelló Cultural Center, plastic artist Julia Castillo, who reconfirmed the Center’s commitment to strengthen cultural activities and promote national artists.
The main goal of the festival is to create an artistic recreation of the natural beauty that characterizes the Salinas region, so that others may learn about this impressive and pristine tourism destination and its crucial entrepreneurial and cultural importance.
So far, the following local artists have confirmed their participation in the event: Julia Castillo Mejía, Son Will Feliz Torres, Christopher Sánchez, Teidy Mora, Luis Heredia, Norkelly Acosta, Bayardo Ortiz, Domingo Guzmán, Eddaviel Montero, Esmeralda Bobadilla, María Anunziata Ronzino, Luis Galarza, Francis Montilla, Francis Antonio Gómez, Edwin Casado, Rolando Mancebo, Josefina Garrido and Merquin Ariel, among others.
