Laws for the Protection of the Fundamental Rights of Children and Adolescents. Law 136-03

The code herein is drawn up with the expressed purpose to protect all boys, girls and adolescents who find themselves within the national territory. The law provides for the needs of children and the exercise of their fundamental rights. Toward this end, the Code herein establishes the complete protection of stated rights and underlines the role and judicial norms in relation to the government, society, families and individuals with regard to the subject of this law: children from birth to the age of 18 years.
