The Dominican Republic Children and Youth Library (BIJRD for its acronym in Spanish) will start a new series of workshops on Photoshop and parental control techniques for using the Internet.


These workshops are geared towards teenage and adult audiences, respectively. They will be offered free of charge, and will take place at the Info Puerto Hall of the BIJRD.


With a view to helping close he digital divide and to create new abilities in young people and adults, the Dominican Republic Children and Youth Library, will offer new courses on Photoshop and parental control techniques for using the Internet


These workshops are geared towards teenage and adult audiences, respectively. They will be offered free of charge, and will take place at the Info Puerto Hall of the BIJRD.


The class schedule will be from 4 to 6 pm, starting this coming Thursday, May 24, with the parental control techniques for using the Internet workshop; and on Tuesday, May 29, also from 4 to 6 pm, the Photoshop workshop for teenagers will take place.

The Dominican Republic Children and Youth Libraryis an educational and cultural space whose primary objective is to promote reading within the family and to instill love for books from an early age.


It also offers educational and artistic initiatives, including painting, chess, flute, jazz dance, theater, film, choral singing, etc., for people of all ages.
