It will include various activities and will take place at the institution, and it will be dedicated to historian Emilio Cordero Michel.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Activities will include exhibitions and book sales, artistic performances, documentaries, workshops, conferences, book launchings, round tables, guided tours and other activities. The AGN\u2019s management informed that the opening ceremony is scheduled for Monday, October 26, at 11:00 am and that the book expo-sale will also be opened that same day. There will be presentations on the services offered by the institution, as well as on its finances, collections and projects.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Among the artistic presentations are the UASD\u2019s Rondalla, the performance \u201cMujeres de Abril,\u201d the Karla Hatton theater group; the Dominican American Cultural Institute\u2019s choir; the Ministry of Culture\u2019s Folkloric Ballet; the Garcell Duo; and, the Ministry of Tourism\u2019s Folkloric Ballet.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Likewise, the following documentaries will be screened: \u201cAbril, el pueblo en armas\u201d; \u201cMujeres a trav\u00e9s de la historia\u201d; \u201cM\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez, un hombre del destino\u201d; \u201cVoces de Abril\u201d; \u201cAbril: Boda de Oro con la Patria,\u201d by Gerardo Sep\u00falveda, and the movie \u201cAmin,\u201d by Etzel B\u00e1ez.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>On Monday, October 26, at 7:00 pm, there will be a tribute to Emilio Cordero Michel and the presentation of his Obras Escogidas, Ensayos I, C\u00e1tedra de Historia, presented by Natacha and Raymundo Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Renowned intellectuals, such as Minerva Isa, Eunice Lluberes, Eliades Acosta, Dar\u00edo Tejeda, Alejandro Paulino Ramos, Bernardo Regino, Rafael Alfredo Hern\u00e1ndez, Santiago Castro Ventura, Rafael Leonidas P\u00e9rez y P\u00e9rez, Gerardo Cabrera, Arlette Fern\u00e1ndez, Jos\u00e9 Chez Checo, Marino F\u00e9lix Terrero, Daimit Duque, Amanda Ortiz, and others will participate as analysts and speakers at panels and lectures.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Among the books to be released to the public are: \u201cCosas a\u00f1ejas, Tradiciones y episodios de Santo Domingo,\u201d by C\u00e9sar Nicol\u00e1s Penson; \u201cDocumentos del gobierno de Carlos F. Morales Languasco,\u201d compiled by Alfredo Hern\u00e1ndez; \u201cAntolog\u00eda de cartas de Ulises Heureaux (Lil\u00eds),\u201d by Cyrus Veeser; \u201cAntolog\u00eda,\u201d by Carlos Larraz\u00e1bal Blanco, edited by Andr\u00e9s Blanco D\u00edaz;
