It took place on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>During the event, volunteers planted more than 300 Cedar, native Mahogany and Dove Heart trees, among others, as they fit the characteristics of the area and of the land on which the Sendero Ecotur\u00edstico Padre Nuestro is located.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>\u201cThe objective of this activity is to reforest the area, so that the ecosystem can be strengthened, thus contributing to the environment and the sustainable development of this tourist destination,\u201d said Ana Garc\u00eda-Sotoca, Executive Director of the AHRB and CTRB.<br \/>\n<P>The logistics of the event were covered by the Punta Cana-Macao Energy Consortium and the Association of Hotels of La Romana-Bayahibe, in coordination with community organizations located around Padre Nuestro.
