This year, it brings 12 European films with genres ranging from comedies, suspense, drama and documentaries. It will take place from June 5 to June 17. From Tuesday to Friday, the screenings will be at 7:30 pm and on Saturday and Sunday they will be at 5:30 pm. Tickets for all film screenings are free until full capacity is reached.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The very high quality of contemporary European cinema is shown through its flawless productions, the great artistic and technical level of the actors, writers and directors, its attention to current and relevant issues, and the importance it attaches to the plot of the movies and the human relationships that develop in them. Such is the case of the French film &#8220;The 400 Blows&#8221;, directed by Fran\u00e7ois Truffaut, in which a twelve year old boy, Antoine Doinel, is forced not only to witness the marital problems of his parents, but also to withstand the demands of a stern teacher. One day, scared because he has not fulfilled the punishment imposed by his teacher, he decides to skip school with his friend Ren\u00e9. Unexpectedly, he sees his mother in the company of another man; his guilt and fear drag him to a series of lies that are slowly seeping into his mind. Wishing to leave behind all his problems, he dreams of discovering the sea and outlines a plan with Ren\u00e9 to escape.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>During the festival, there will be room not only for comedy, but also for documentaries that educate us about climate change. Thus, the wonderful documentary &#8220;Recipe for disaster&#8221;, by director John Webster, shows the life of an entire family when they decide to live for a year without leaving a &#8220;footprint&#8221;, i.e., without the use of electricity, energy or articles made of plastic.
