The purpose of this competition is to promote reading and good environmental practices. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Unlike in previous years, this time not only designers of accessories and clothing accessories will be part of the festival, but attendees will be able to find paintings, handcrafted pieces and other handmade items, so that visitors can find the perfect gift for mom.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Mar\u00eda Alejandra Lama and Carmen Ortega will be in charge of the general production. They have stated that: \u201cFor six years we have inspired the interest of young talented Dominicans and of youth from other cultures to exhibit their designs, by creating a space that allows participants to showcase their innovative proposals. The event is held every year during the month of May, as it is dedicated to all the mothers of our country.\u201d<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Part of the funds collected at ComplementARTE will be donated to the St. Jude Foundation, an institution that works to benefit children with cancer.
