The Ministry of Culture (MINC) has organized this event as part of the celebrations of the year of the Dominican theater.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The ceremony will take place in the Monina Sol\u00e1 auditorium of the Narciso Gonz\u00e1lez Cultural Center at 7:00 pm. \u201cLa Edad de las Ciruelas,\u201d a play written by Latin-American maestro Ar\u00edstides Vargas will be staged at the event by the students of the Escuela Nacional de Arte Dram\u00e1tico.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The 15th Festival, which will close on April 27, includes a selection of plays that encompass amusement and entertainment themes, and are, therefore, appropriate for children, youth, and adult audiences. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Basilio Nova, Director and Producer of the aforementioned event, highlighted the support received from the Minister of Culture, singer and the songwriter Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rodr\u00edguez, for the planning of the event.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Nova also emphasized that the event, organized by the MINC, is the only appropriate space that theater groups, professionals, students and theater enthusiasts from around the country have to perform and promote their talent and creativity on the stage.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Performances are programed from Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The general admission for each performance is RD$50 per person.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Performances are scheduled to take place in the Enriquillo S\u00e1nchez Auditorium (at the Ministry of Culture headquarters); the Narciso Gonz\u00e1lez Cultural Center, the Haff\u00e9 Serulle Experimental Theater, the Perell\u00f3 Cultural Center, Ban\u00ed; the Don Bosco Theater, Moca, Espaillat Province; Liceo Gregorio Luper\u00f3n, Escuela Juan Ravelo, Puerto Plata; and, the San Francisco de Macor\u00eds Experimental Theater.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Among the participating theater groups that are scheduled to perform, are: Teatro Orquestal Dominicano, the Escuela Nacional de Arte Dram\u00e1tico, Teatro Sol, from Hig\u00fcey;
