The winning photo was submitted by Yolanda Hern\u00e1ndez.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The awards consisted of: 1st Place: A Digital SLR Camera; 2nd Place: A Laptop Computer; 3rd Place: An Electronic Tablet; and the Audience Award: A plaque and certificate of recognition.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The awards ceremony will be held on January 30th, 2015, in the Andr\u00e9s Francisco Requena Events Hall of the Dominican Commissioner of Culture, located at 541 West 145 Street, 2nd. floor, near the corner of Broadway, in Manhattan.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The competition entailed submitting photographic images that reflect the cultural values and the everyday life of Dominicans living abroad.
