Soprano of the Teatro Orquestal Dominicano conquers the public on her debut at the National Theatre<\/SPAN><\/STRONG> A<\/SPAN>s a final note, the universal Dominican song,\u201cPor Amor\u201d, by Maestro Solano, was performed by the artist as a duet with legendary Dominican singer Nin\u00ed C\u00e1ffaro. <\/EM><\/P> The debut of Janette M\u00e1rquez Valerio, cast member of the Ministry of Culture\u2019s Teatro Orquestal Dominicano, was a complete success, as the blind soprano showed her talent before a huge crowd in the A\u00edda Bonnelly de D\u00edaz Hall of the Eduardo Brito National Theatre. <\/P> The activity, led by the Minister of Culture, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rodr\u00edguez, was attended by legislators, government officials, musicians, and the general public.<\/P> M\u00e1rquez, with her almost angelic voice, performed the notes of the songs: \u201cComo me besabas t\u00fa\u201d, by Jos\u00e9 Dolores Cer\u00f3n; \u201cCuando te beso\u201d, by Juan Luis Guerra; \u201cPara quererte\u201d, by Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rodr\u00edguez and Manuel Tejada, and \u201cQuisqueya\u201d, by Rafael Hern\u00e1ndez.<\/P> The repertoire included a set by recently deceased singer Sonia Silvestre, which included the songs: \u201cQue ser\u00e1 de ti\u201d, by Roberto Carlos; \u201cLa tarde est\u00e1 llorando y es por ti\u201d, by Gabino Correa; \u201cOjal\u00e1\u201d, by Silvio Rodr\u00edguez, and \u201cPor Amor\u201d, by maestro Rafael Solano. <\/P> Also, the works by Georg Friedrich Haendel, Bel Piacere; by Benedetto Marcello, II Mio Bel Foco; by Cristoph Willibald Gluck, O del Mio Dolce Ardor; and, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\u2019s Non So Piu, among others. <\/P> As a final note, the Dominican universal song, \u201cPor amor\u201d, by Maestro Solano, was performed in a duet with legendary Dominican singer Nini C\u00e1ffaro. <\/P> The production was led by TODO Director, Maria Ortiz Dilon\u00e9, who delivered the welcoming remarks and said that yesterday was a very special day, for she saw a dream come true with the launching of the artist.<\/P> The fact that she was a blind person was not an obstacle for Janette M\u00e1rquez to show extraordinary abilities for music and singing since childhood. <\/EM> <\/P> The young artist of Dominican descent was born in the United States. She studied music at the Culture and Art Institute. She continued her studies at Hogar de la Armon\u00eda, both located in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros. <\/P> Back in the United States, she was admitted to the Hamarskjold School where she continued developing her choral voice.
