Dominican Wins Prize at the Madrid Book Fair<\/SPAN><\/STRONG> J<\/SPAN>os\u00e9 Enrique Delmonte So\u00f1\u00e9 was awarded the Ibero-American Poetry Prize for his set of poems \u201cOnce palabras que mueven tu mundo\u201d (Eleven words that move your world).<\/EM><\/P> Dominican writer Jos\u00e9 Enrique Delmonte So\u00f1\u00e9 was awarded the Ibero-American Poetry Prize, in the context of the 2014 Madrid Book Fair. The event was closed last Sunday with a successful sales and attendance record. <\/P> The activity took place in the auditorium of the Eugenio Tr\u00edas Library, located at the El Retiro park in Madrid, Spain. An international jury awarded the Escriduende 2014<\/STRONG> prizes to the best publications of the Sial Pigmali\u00f3n collection, which include prizes in Narrative, Short Story, Poetry, Edition, and Illustration, among others. This is the first Escriduende prize awarded to a Dominican writer.<\/P> The Dominican writer was awarded the recognition for his set of poems Once palabras que mueven tu mundo<\/EM>, \u201cfor the depth and mastery of the language and the ability to provoke new sensations on the theme of love that open new possibilities of expression and buttress the ties among Spanish-speaking nations\u201d. <\/P> The book was immediately well received by readers and buyers that attended the 73rd Madrid Book Fair, where the author signed copies of the book on the afternoon of June 15th. <\/P> Delmonte So\u00f1\u00e9, who is also an Architect, was very pleased with the recognition of his poetic work.
