\n

T<\/SPAN>he Dominican film industry continues to set records and to take risks with new proposals. The test scenes of \u201cExpedici\u00f3n Gloriosa\u201d were shot with the support of Global Brands and the Ibermedia program. This is the first Dominican war film that recaptures the heroic exploits of the June 1959 immortal race, where 198 men gave their lives for a common ideal: Freedom. 55 years later, they return to the big screen to be remembered forever. <\/P>
\n

\u201cExpedici\u00f3n Gloriosa\u201d is produced by Roddy P\u00e9rez, starring actors Frank Perozo, Manny P\u00e9rez, Ico Abreu, Javier Grull\u00f3n, and H\u00e9ctor An\u00edbal. It brings together an outstanding cast, including Olympic medalist, F\u00e9lix \u201cSuper\u201d S\u00e1nchez, who ventures for the first time into the film industry. In addition, in the main roles, the film will feature the participation of talented Dominican actress Claudette Lal\u00ed, as well as actors Fausto Rojas, Amauris P\u00e9rez, and Mario Peguero. <\/P>
\n

The first preview of the film was recently released through the www.expediciongloriosa.com<\/A> portal. The project, which received the prestigious Spanish fund of the Ibermedia program, tells the story of the 6 survivors of this uprising, and of their commander Enrique Jim\u00e9nez Moya. <\/P>
\n

Although there is an ongoing discussion with major investors, \u201cExpedici\u00f3n Gloriosa\u201d already has the support of Global Brands, Print City, Air Europa, and the Ministry of the Armed Forces.  In addition, it is also being co-produced by Nurgul Shayakhmetova, and the associate producers are Francis Pou, Ico Abreu, and the H\u00e9roes de Constanza Maim\u00f3n and the Estero Hondo Foundation. <\/P>
\n

Other cast members are actors Hans Mart\u00ednez, Miguel Mart\u00ednez, Andy Turb\u00eddez, and Ren\u00e9 Ayuso. The official casting will take place in the coming days. Proposals may be sent to casting@expediciongloriosa.com<\/A>. <\/P>
\n

Soundtrack<\/STRONG>
The first soundtrack of the film was released to the public in October, along with a video. It is called \u201cNo me dejes caer (Do not let me fall),\u201d produced by Roy Tavar\u00e9, a prominent music producer, who will be responsible for the film’s original soundtrack.
The project attended the recent Cannes Film Festival and, among its advisors, are \u00c9tzel B\u00e1ez, Francis Pou, and Jos\u00e9 Luis Valle, Director of \u201cWorkers\u201d. <\/P>
