Creation of Satellite Account claimed to ensure the spur of economic development of culture in the Dominican Republic<\/STRONG> F<\/SPAN>or the culture sector it is imperative to have a satellite account, because with it we can provide detailed information on the performance and economic characteristics of culture. The official provided details concerning the scope of this statistical instrument, whose creation is the responsibility of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture.<\/P> Such endeavor is contemplated in the agreement that was recently signed between the Minister of Culture, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rodr\u00edguez, and the Governor of the Bank, H\u00e9ctor Valdez Albizu.<\/P> Santos further explained that the Satellite Account of Culture is a consistent and systematic accounting mechanism, which is published annually, and contains information about the cultural sectors whose activities have an impact on the economy.
