Ministry of Culture recognizes several individuals for their valuable literary contributions<\/STRONG> T<\/SPAN>he Ministry of Culture, within the framework of the Regional Book Fair Espaillat 2012, recognized several individuals and institutions from the northern region for their valuable contributions to Dominican literature and culture.<\/P> The awardsceremony took place during the opening of the VIII Regional Book Fair, which was held on Monday at C\u00e1ceres Park in Moca.<\/P> The event was headed by the Minister of Culture, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rodr\u00edguez, together with the region\u2019s municipal and provincial authorities.<\/P> The top recognition went to writer Roberto Pe\u00f1aLebr\u00f3n, for his contributions to poetry. His representative, Pedro Pompey, received the diploma on his behalf.<\/P> Thereupon, Minister Rodr\u00edguez presented adiploma to the editor of the Mitos magazine, Rosa Julia Vargas, for hermonumental and effective work in thedissemination of Dominican literature.<\/STRONG><\/EM><\/P>Then, group Jueves Literario of Sos\u00faa received an award. Writer Ram\u00f3n Gil accepted the award on behalf of all the group\u2019s members. This group is known for being ashining examplein defending cultural values ??by placing emphasison disseminatingliteraturethroughout the municipality of Sos\u00faa, Puerto Plata. Also, Amir Cepeda, President of Moca\u2019s Club Activo 20-30, was recognized for his intense and ongoing work of disseminating books and reading in the city of Moca.<\/P> The awardsceremony took place during the opening of the VIII Regional Book Fair, which was held on Monday at C\u00e1ceres Park in Moca.<\/STRONG><\/EM><\/P> The event was attended by leading authorities of the Espaillat province, including Senator Jos\u00e9 Rafael Vargas, Governor Dison\u00e9 Ovalles, Carlos Amarante Baret, Chairman of the Dominican Council of INDOTEL, Dr. Carlos Salcedo, Chief of Staff of the Ministry Culture, and Dr. Luis O.
