He studied orchestra conducting in Italy with Julius Kalmar as well as Handt D. Pascu, M. Beck, Carl St. Clair, Jorma Panula and Riccardo Muti.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Gonz\u00e1lez was an invited artist at the concert offered by Spanish tenor Jos\u00e9 Carreras with the Santo Domingo Symphony.
