Italy and Dominican Republic Promoting Cultural Exchange<\/STRONG> I<\/SPAN>talian Deputy and president of the Commission for International Community Affairs, Gilberto Casciani, paid a courtesy call to Culture Minister, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rodr\u00edguez, to talk about extending cultural relations between the Dominican-Italian communities in the Dominican Republic.<\/P> \u201cThere will be an exhibition in Rome in two months where the main cultural activities of the Dominican Republic will be on display. This will result in a significant agreement between the two countries,\u201d explained Mr. Castillo.<\/P> Mr. Cascianiis in the DR as part of a delegation representing a group of Italian businesspeople interested in investing here and in the construction of a municipal market for the packaging and sale of products of mass consumption in Santo Domingo North.<\/P> William Castillo, Director of International Relations of the Town Hall of Santo Domingo North, explained that Mr. Cascianiis promoting cultural exchange that will get underway in the coming months between the Italian and Dominican communities here as well as in Italy and that the results of this visit will soon bear fruit.<\/P> \u201cThere will be an exhibition in Rome in two months where the main cultural activities of the Dominican Republic will be on display.
