(DEM). They made stops at the new supermarket, pharmacy and Family Medical Center, all recently opened to provide better services to members of the Dominican military and their families<\/P><br \/>\n<P>ISSFFA director, Brigadier General Marte V\u00e1squez, showed the First Lady the variety of reasonably-priced products on offer at the supermarket and pharmacy and the high quality of service available to shoppers<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Mrs. Cede\u00f1o de Fern\u00e1ndez also visited the Family Medical Center of the ISSFFAA where the ophthalmology center is equipped with the very latest, fully computerized equipment. She also visited the modern dental office as well as the pediatric, cardiology and gynecology departments.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>As part of the visit, Brigadier General Edyson Marte V\u00e1squez, E.N. (DEM), presented a plaque to the First Lady in recognition of her unconditional support of the medical center which also plays an important role in the struggle against breast cancer as well as training servicemen\u2019s wives through the Progresando program.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>At the same time, the First Lady gave the keys to an apartment to Sargent Leya Lapaix D\u00edaz, who recently won it at the ISSFFAA\u2019s Mothers Day celebration.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>During the tour of the area, the First Lady was greeted by ISSFFAA employees.
