Ministry of Culture Inaugurates Pedro Jos\u00e9 Gris Exhibition “Windows: A View of Pleasure” T<\/SPAN>he Ministry of Culture (MINC in Spanish) recently inaugurated Pedro Jos\u00e9 Gris’ one-man show, “Windows: A View of Pleasure” being held in the Ram\u00f3n Oviedo Art Hall.<\/P> “The quasi-direction of chance, that is to say, the interaction with conscious material helps me define arbitrary textures and forms that mysteriously form part of this thought sensation that obsessively adds to the wholeness of the image,”<\/P> Twenty five paintings on are display in this exhibition in which Gris, painter and writer from Santiago, has adopted a synthesis of significant and created elements starting with recycling and impressions of an image which he later paints then adheres to the work of art. <\/P> In his paintings, Pedro Gris offers his visions, appearances and addiction to creative emotions. <\/P> “The quasi-direction of chance, that is to say, the interaction with conscious material helps me define arbitrary textures and forms that mysteriously form part of this thought sensation that obsessively adds to the wholeness of the image,” said the artist. <\/P> The exhibition, “Windows: A View of Pleasure” will be on display until April 25 in the Ram\u00f3n Oviedo Art Hall located the Ministry of Culture on George Washington Avenue, corner with Presidente Vicini Burgos, in front of the Macho Obelisk.
