President Fern\u00e1ndez Receives a Visit from Haitian First Lady <\/STRONG><\/P> During her visit to the Dominican Republic, Elizabeth Debrosse de Pr\u00e9val visited several places including the Republic of Haiti School, the Dar\u00edo Conteras Hospital, the Children\u2019s Library of the Dominican Republic and the Office of the First Lady. <\/P> D<\/SPAN>ominican President Leonel Fern\u00e1ndez received Haiti\u2019s First Lady, Elizabeth Debrosse de Pr\u00e9val, in his office. The wife of Haitian President Ren\u00e9 Pr\u00e9val was accompanied by Dominican First Lady Margarita Cede\u00f1o de Fern\u00e1ndez. Mrs. Pr\u00e9val and President Fern\u00e1ndez discussed the difficulties facing Haiti after the devastating January 12 earthquake. She thanked the Dominican Head of State for the aid and assistance his government and the Dominican people have bestowed on Haiti in its time of need. The Haitian First Lady was also accompanied by Haitian Education Minister, Joel Desrosiers Jean-Pierre and the country\u2019s Ambassador to the DR, Fritz Cineas. Also present at the visit was the Dominican Ambassador to Haiti, Rub\u00e9n Sili\u00e9 and Dominican Education Minister, Melanio Paredes, according to the President\u2019s Office of Information, Press and Publicity. <\/P>
