The Dominican Republic to Bring World Leaders Together to Discuss Haiti Situation<\/STRONG><\/P> <\/STRONG>T<\/SPAN><\/SPAN>he Dominican Republic will host a meeting on Monday January 18 in preparation for a World Summit on Haiti in which Spain\u2019s Vice President, Mar\u00eda Teresa Fern\u00e1ndez de la Vega, will be present. Spain currently holds the presidency of the European Union. Also expected at the meeting will be Haitian President Ren\u00e9 Preval, government representatives from the United States, Canada, Brazil and Ambassadors from various Latin American countries.
