The beaches and spa, located in the main tourism poles around the country in 14 provinces, are part of the \u201cTourism for Everyone\u201d program, a joint effort between SECTUR, the Ministry of Environment, syndicates and civil society. <\/P><br \/>\n<P class=quote style=\"BORDER-TOP: #cccccc 1px solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #cccccc 1px solid; WIDTH: 30%; BORDER-BOTTOM: #cccccc 1px solid; FLOAT: right; PADDING-BOTTOM: 8px; PADDING-TOP: 8px; PADDING-LEFT: 8px; MARGIN: 20px; BORDER-LEFT: #cccccc 1px solid; PADDING-RIGHT: 8px; BACKGROUND-COLOR: whitesmoke\" align=justify>&#8220;With the activity we seek to have the beaches and seaside resorts and the areas around them clean and organized so that Dominicans and foreign visitors can enjoy their natural beauty,\u201d &#8230;. <\/P><br \/>\n<P align=justify>The activity forms part of the Public Beaches Clean-up and Re-organization Plan being carried out by SECTUR with funds from the Tourism Infrastructure Works Executor Committee (CEIZTUR). On November 22, the Plan will have been in effect for one year, according to the Office of Press and Communications of SECTUR.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>&#8220;With the activity we seek to have the beaches and seaside resorts and the areas around them clean and organized so that Dominicans and foreign visitors can enjoy their natural beauty,\u201d said Francisco Javier Garc\u00eda, Tourism Minister.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>This year\u2019s clean-up and environmental conditioning took place at such beaches as Andr\u00e9s and Boca Chica in Santo Domingo; Embassy Caribe, Guayacanes and Juan Dolio in San Pedro de Macor\u00eds; Bayahibe and Macao in Altagracia and Las Galeras, Punta Popy, Pueblo Pescadores, La Ballena, in Saman\u00e1.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>Other beaches included Los Yayales, Poza de Bojolo, Los Gringos, Matanzas, Matancita, in Nagua; La Entrada, Bret\u00f3n, Calet\u00f3n, Diamante, Playa Grande, Los Mina, Los Muertos and Los Guardia, in San Juan River; Magande Beach, in Gaspar Hern\u00e1ndez; Long Beach, in Puerto Plata.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>Grande and Chiquita Beaches and La Tuya, in Luper\u00f3n; Isabela Beach in in La Isabela; Punta Rusia, in Punta Rusia; Buen Hombre Beach in Villa V\u00e1squez; Costa Verde and El Morro, in Montecristi; Boca de Nigua, Najayo, Caracoles, Chiquita Beach and Linda Beach in San Crist\u00f3bal; Salinas, in Ban\u00ed; Nizao Beach in Nizao; Palmar de Ocoa, in Azua; Playa El Cayo, Litoral de la Ciudad, Saladilla, El Quemaito, San Rafael and Los Patos in Barahona; Eagle Bay and City Beach in Pedernales; and Salto de Aguas Blancas in Constanza.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>SECTUR has a staff of people at each beach and resort to keep the areas clean and in good shape all year-round.
