The six foreign dignitaries are from the Netherlands, Brazil, the Commission of the European Community, South Africa, Russia and the Palestinian Authority. <\/P><br \/>\n<P class=quote style=\"BORDER-TOP: #cccccc 1px solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #cccccc 1px solid; WIDTH: 30%; BORDER-BOTTOM: #cccccc 1px solid; FLOAT: right; PADDING-BOTTOM: 8px; PADDING-TOP: 8px; PADDING-LEFT: 8px; MARGIN: 20px; BORDER-LEFT: #cccccc 1px solid; PADDING-RIGHT: 8px; BACKGROUND-COLOR: whitesmoke\" align=justify>On Tuesday Dominican President Leonel Fern\u00e1ndez, received credentials from six newly arrived ambassadors to the Dominican government. The six foreign dignitaries are from the Netherlands, Brazil, the Commission of the European Community, South Africa, Russia and the Palestinian Authority. <\/P>President Fern\u00e1ndez was joined by the Vice President Rafael Alburquerque; Foreign Minister, Carlos Morales Troncoso; Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Trullols and officials of the Protocol Office of the National Palace, Roberto Blandino and Pedro G\u00f3mez of the Foreign Ministry.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>The first to present their credentials was the Ambassador from the Netherlands, Rita Dulci Rahman, followed by Brazilian Ambassador Joao Solano Caneiro da Cunha, according to information released by the President\u2019s Office of Information, Press and Publicity.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>Later the Chief of Delegation of the Commission of the European Community, Irene Mar\u00eda Horejs presented her credentials followed by South African Ambassador Phatse Justice Pitso; Vladimir F. Zaemsky from the Russian Federation, F. Zaemsky and Riyad H. Mansour for the Palestinian Authority. President Fern\u00e1ndez spoke for several minutes with each of the new Ambassadors to the Dominican Republic.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>Ms. Dulci Rahman from the Netherlands studied mathematics at the University of Paramaribo and Sociology and Non-Western Economics at the University of Leiden. She has carried out various diplomatic functions as Director of the Economic Section of the Dutch Embassy in New Delhi and has been in charge of the \u201cWomen and Development\u201d section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hague. She functioned as First Secretary of \u201cWomen and Public Health Development\u201d office at the Dutch Embassy in Dhaka.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>Diplomat Joao Solano Carneiro da Cunha, is a graduate of the Nancy II \/FR University in Language and French Literature. He has held various posts such as Secretary and Consultant in embassies in Washington, Lisbon, Asuncion and Lima. He was been commissioned and in charge of the Business Section of the Embassy in Luanda. Mr. da Cunha has represented Brazil as a coordinator of various international events and meetings.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>South African Ambassador Phatse Justice Pitso has worked as an educator in secondary school in Molwestsi, Monteane and Moroa-Ngoato High School. He also worked in Public Relations, the Department of Finance and Economic Affairs, member of the Provincial Legislature and President of the Parliamentary Committee on Safety. He is a member of the Protection, Legislature and Ministry of Transport.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>Vladimir Fedorovicxh Zaemsky, began his diplomatic career in 1974 after graduating from Moscow\u2019s State Institute of International Relations. In 2000 he graduated from the Academy of Joint State Service in the President\u2019s Office of the Russian Federation. He held posts in different diplomatic missions in embassies of the USSR and the Russian Federation abroad. Some of his posts have included Costa Rica, Venezuela, the United States and the United Nations.<br \/>\n<P align=justify>Palestinian Diplomat Riyad Mansour is a graduate of Akron and Youngstown Universities in the USA. Between 1983 and 2004, Mr. Mansour was the second permanent observer of the Palestinian Commission at the United Nations.
