Carolina Herrera and First Lady Margarita Cede\u00f1o de Fern\u00e1ndez Work Together for Dominican Women <\/STRONG><\/P> D<\/SPAN><\/SPAN>ominican First Lady Margarita Cede\u00f1o de Fern\u00e1ndez was welcomed by internationally known designer Carolina Herrera at her office in New York where they met to finalize their coordinated efforts in support of a breast cancer detection and prevention campaign, known as “Today Is the Best Moment” (“Hoy es el Mejor Momento”<\/I> in Spanish) to get underway in October. <\/P> Keeping this in mind, Dr. Cede\u00f1o de Fern\u00e1ndez presented Ms. Herrera with audiovisual as well as printed material about the “Hoy es el mejor momento” campaign which has been ongoing since 2006 under the auspices of the Office of the First Lady which is focusing on the struggle against breast cancer in the Dominican Republic. <\/P> At last week’s meeting, held on September 2nd, Carolina shared her experience with the SER Initiative, created by Sony Pictures Television.
